Dr Lisa Freeman graduated from Medicine at Monash University in 1992. She initially worked as a General Practitioner, but became keenly interested in anti-ageing procedures and the non-surgical rejuvenation of the skin. Over the past few years Lisa has worked exclusively in the area of dermatology and cosmetic medicine.
As a Cosmetic Physician with ARC Plastic Surgery, Lisa assesses each patient thoroughly, providing advice about the most suitable treatments for their particular needs and condition, explaining techniques, and developing a long-term management plan.
Lisa is highly skilled in a variety of anti-ageing skin care procedures, including anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers for the lips and around the mouth. She performs skin checks to identify the earliest signs of skin cancer, treats chronic acne conditions, and liaises with the Dermal Therapists and Nurses about patients requiring Dermal and Ultrashape treatments.
Lisa is one of the first medical practitioners in Australia to use the new UltraShape™ Version III technology, which uses ultrasound waves to assist patients to shed unwanted fat on their stomach, flanks (love handles) or outer thighs.
Lisa has completed many cosmetic workshops, and achieved her Certificate in Primary Care Skin Cancer Management in 2009. Until recently, she was working with Dr Barbara Breadon, a leading Melbourne dermatologist.
Lisa is married to Richard Bloom, a plastic surgeon at ARC Plastic Surgery, and they have three children.
Lisa is available for consultation at ARC Plastic Surgery’s Hawthorn East rooms.
